The Opportunity
In 2022, Passion City Church built its annual generosity campaign around a central idea: generational impact. It aimed to help members understand giving as something that extends beyond a single moment into long-term legacy and transformation.
The campaign needed a capstone film for a live Sunday service that could create immediate emotional clarity and momentum right before the generosity offering, reinforcing the message of long-term impact in a short, high-attention moment.
The Approach
While serving on staff at Passion, Kevin led the creative development of the campaign’s primary film component, as director + editor. The piece was part of a larger integrated campaign spanning video, print, digital, and environmental creative.
The film itself interwove the history of flight with the multi-generational story of the Nobles family, using parallel narratives to reinforce the idea of legacy. The structure was designed not only to keep audiences engaged, but to create reflection around faithfulness and generosity.
The RESULTS
The campaign culminated in over $7.5 million in generosity, with the majority given in the moments immediately after this film premiered and the invitation was given.
